Breakfast ordering works off a pre-printed list of options chosen the night before. Morning coffee carafe appears outside the bedroom door. A very large buffet gets served if multiple guests are staying.

Property has horses, chickens, donkeys, and an Alpaca available to see. That pet donkey goes by the name Eeyore. Countryside location is a half hour drive south of Iowa City.

The original wood trim and period furnishings are still in the house. The farm eggs for breakfast come from the property's own chickens. The room bed was comfortable and the space was clean.

GPS navigation does not reliably find the address. Blue signs posted on Highway 218 southbound work as directions. Coordinates N41° 14.977' W091° 29.524' also will get you there. The shared bathroom and linens were all clean.

Outdoor fire pit has plenty of shaded benches around it for seating. Brenda was in the middle of mowing the lawn on a riding mower when arriving. Whether you eat breakfast or not, the rooms are well-appointed.
